At Innovative License, I like to keep things simple and local. You won’t find us in a storefront or a shipping center. Instead, I may pop up at arts and crafts shows around North Texas, where I get to meet our customers face-to-face and share our creations in person.
I'm not about having the most inventory. I'm about having the best handmade crafts at prices that feel good. My prices are very reasonable because I get most of my materials for free. Most of what I make comes from repurposed or recycled material. Things like unused license plates, old fence boards, wine and liquor bottles, and treasures from thrift stores. I love giving these items a second life and turning them into something truly one-of-a-kind.
Another way I keep IVL prices reasonable is my low overhead. I make everything in my workshop AKA the garage and home office! Crafting is a hobby that turned into a business.
I don't do this to get rich. I do it because I love making things and selling them at a price regular folks, like myself, can appreciate and afford.
Lastly, just a bit about me. I am an Air Force veteran, retired police sergeant and currently work as the director of safety & security at a school in Dallas.
